Thanks Serena, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts! Charles Duhigg's Power of Habit offers more 'why we do what we do' it's a great read to tee-up James Clear's book, plus I resonated with the 'reward' system 🤣. Here's a link to the full series of Emotional agility that I did in March: carermentor.com/p/mento… I highly recommend Susa…

Oh yes, and Charles Duhigg. I’ll look into his book too. I’m making a focused effort to align the things that I do on a day to day basis with what is important to me. AND I could use some rewards in my life! Thanks so much for sharing these resources.
Don't forget - self-compassion :-) it's key. These are content-rich topics so, just as you do with your movement pieces, my recommendation is to give yourself the space to expand on small pieces. This is why Viktor Frankl's quote is my favourite: Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

This is so good Victoria. I’m going to plaster those words to my fridge. Thank you. 🙏
Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is a must-read. That together with Dr Susan David's book are the 2 I recommend to everyone ;-) You're very welcome!
I do have the book and had started reading it a while ago but put it down before getting very far. I don’t think I had the stomach for it at the time but I know I need to pick it up again.
I hear you. You'll find a good time, but it is intense. Susan David explores the quote and his work at the start of her book. So perhaps try that first.
Will do. Thanks!
