Me too! I've used the gratitude jar with work teams, as well as personally. It's also fun when random people decide to add their notes, (possibly fear of missing out ;-) ) and you find them at the end of the year! 🥰

What a fantastic practice! Like hidden treasure or Grace. 🥰

Imagine what happens when mutual friends in a community do the Jar!! Talk about scaling up mutual appreciation and gratitude. 😍♾️ ♾️ Ripples in a pond...or virtuous contagion...in a company it's a bit of peer pressure to 'not be outdone by the other team' ;-)

Yes, Exactly! Infinitely rewarding and encouraging as well. I’m curious. What is the vision of your company?

Here's an 'old' article sharing the first 'evolution' here on substack of what I envisaged. This is only about the website: https://www.carermentor.com/p/who-started-carer-mentor-and-why

Things have slightly shifted BUT the intention to eventually have guest contributors who are carers (writers / creators) to diversify content is unchanged...

I have 2 companies outside this. 1 focused on Mentoring Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/victorialchinmba/

Thank you! I will look at this and your vision.

I really like this: "Sometimes we forget, that the majority of life's successes are in the small moments of joy and gratitude. The collective impact of all these moments of gratitude can be just as big, or sometimes even bigger, than those of a big project or goal!"

I actually kept a gratitude jar a couple of years ago but didn't continue the practice. It was such a wonderful party to open up the folded post-it notes to see what blessings I had throughout the year. I'm inspired to restart this practice! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks, Louisa. I love journalling and reflections - but it's not often we see a meta-level picture or a complete narrative. Hence, why I love this exercise...maybe for 'Thanksgiving'?! It interlocks nicely with the other posts, especially making a Timeline of your Transitions via a Frame of Reference: https://www.carermentor.com/p/your-frame-of-reference
