Yay, exactly what I hoped everyone would do! Thanks, @Christine Vaughan Davies ! The list will grow, and pending my reading this year the top 10 may change..but the link won’t. I think it’s interesting to see how it evolves over time. ;-)
This looks like a great list of books! There are a few I’d like to read. I’ve just put Seven and a Half Lessons About the Brain on my Amazon wish list, but I might find it at a local store first. Than you for putting all this together!
Such a great resource - most of these books I've never come across! My top favourite to re-read is Antifragile by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Such an excellent book.
I've read some of these but am seeing so many more I should check out. Thank you, Victoria!
The book that was my north star for a while, as I realized I was entering into a whole new season with my aging parents, is Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande. So much wisdom and perspective there. I circled back to it time and time again.
Great list. I’ve only read a few of these. I’m always impressed when people reread so many books, I always have so many new ones piled up and too little time! A couple related ones I have sitting on my nightstand are The End of Alzheimer’s (Dale Bredesen) and Atlas of the Heart (Brene brown).
Thanks, Anna. I've read Atlas of the Heart several times, it's like an emotions dictionary really good! I think I've Dale Bredesen's book on my TBR list already. I'm checking/will add it - thanks!
The rereads are like familiar friends, very colourful ones given all my highlights now ;-)
Saving this to come back to this list and add several of these new-to-me titles to my TBR list! What a great resource.

Thanks, Serena. Just sharing what I've read and keep close to hand. There are lots of other books in my 'library', but these are the ones which I return to regularly. Lisa Feldman Barrett's book busts popular myths and makes so much sense. It's a lightbulb illuminating read! Here's the link to the articles I wrote: https://www.carermentor.com/i/148921732/professor-lisa-feldman-barrett-is-the-author-of-how-emotions-are-made

Thanks, Zan. Now you've a long 'to be read' list!! Thanks for the recommendation, adding this to mine.

Thanks, Sarah. Ahhh yes, I loved his podcast interview with Krista Tippett. Thanks for the reminder! Adding it to my list.

Fantastic selection of books!
Thanks @Unclenching by Chris L Vaughan!
What a rich & amazing collection! Thank you for being such a prolific reader, always with caregivers in mind.💗
Thanks, Amy. This is how I received therapy in the worst dark times, when I had no time to have IRL support
